Hello from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship with nursery service and kids church available. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Nov. 27 we had 26 attending Sunday school and 36 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Junia Day, Lois Hart, Josh and Judy Cannon, Julie Brodgon, Judy Forrester, Bob Krempasky, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Madisyn Smith, Dale and Kathy Lear, Art Rogers, Paul Lair, Chuck Roberts, Mike Keenan, Delores and Karla Cannon, Auggie Jeffry, Journee Vinyard, Raymond Martin, John Kennedy, Jessica Andrews, Anita Ross, Rich Icide, LaNise Kirk, Ray Steele, Lorie Caffery, Karl Schmidt, Darren & Shelly Pohlman, Roy Monroe, and the families of Carolyn Sue Sherwin and Mary Ellen Reynolds.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Melissa Smith and Kirk Bauxen Dec. 1. There are no anniversaries to report.
After church services on Sunday we decorated the church and fellowship hall for the holidays. Lunch of soup, sandwiches and desserts was enjoyed by all.
We are having our family Christmas Party Friday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. with pizza provided. Bring your favorite snacks or desserts and be ready for a good time.
We will have our annual Christmas program Sunday evening, Dec. 18th at 6 p.m. This is usually a very entertaining time.
Our monthly ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, Dec. 20, at noon in the fellowship hall.
We will again have our 5 p.m. candlelight Christmas Eve service. Come as you are. All are welcome.
On Christmas Day we will have church only at 9:30 a.m.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “This Little Light of Mine.”
