News from Pastor Mancel Day and Barrow Baptist Church. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship with nursery service and kids church available. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Jan. 22, we had 22 attending Sunday school and 28 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Stephanie and Bob Krempasky, Dan and Genise Hatcher, Judy and Josh Cannon, Madisyn Smith, Betty Bruce, M. B. Williams, Marla Caskey, Delores and Karla Cannon, Art Rogers, Paul Lair, Mike Keenan, Chuck Roberts, Karl Schmidt, Darin and Shelly Pohlman, John Kennedy, Jessica Andrews, Breigh Dawdy, Ronnie Beams, Jim and Karen Summers, Tina Gregory, Anita Ingram, Raymond Martin, Doug Wedderstein, Rich Icide, and the family of Harold Smith.
There are no birthdays or anniversaries to report this week.
We will be having game night Saturday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m. Bring snacks and a white elephant gift. Fun will be had by all.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “Peace in the Valley.”
Many of you know one of our faithful members, Lois Hart. She is now at White Hall Nursing and Rehab in room 46. I’m sure she would appreciate a card or a visit if you happen to be out there.
