News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is invited to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, May 3, we had 17 attending Sunday school and 27 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. There are no birthdays or anniversaries to report for this week.
Ladies, don’t forget our ladies luncheon, Tuesday, May 12, at noon in the fellowship hall, Bring a couple of bingo gifts and enjoy a delicious lunch, Christian fellowship and some games of bingo.
During our morning worship service a quartet of Jodi Carriger, Julie Day, Judy Forrester and Ronnie Vestel sang “The Lily of the Valley.” Rich Caskey sang “Somebody Touched Me.”
We will be holding church services May 17 at 2 p.m. at EverVella of White Hall. If you have a loved one out there, we would love to have you and them come to the service.
We are starting May off with more much needed rain.
