The West Central Lady Cougars slid easily past the first round of the 48th Annual Lady Hawk Tournament Saturday by defeating Metro-East Lutheran 57-22 to advance to the quarterfinals on Wednesday where they will take on No. 10 seeded Alton Marquette, who upset No. 2 seeded Jersey Lady Panthers 47-45. The Lady Cougars are seeded No. 7 in the tournament.
