Just one day from the first day of spring and a beautiful Sunday morning drive to church. Attendance was down a bit, but still enjoyed a great gathering of God’s family. I want to thank Sarah for the beautiful music she shares from the keyboard each Sunday morning. This coming Sunday morning, March 26, we will welcome the southern gospel group, 2 by 2, in concert during our 10:30 a.m. worship time. They have been singing God’s praises for 35 plus years. There will be a freewill offering received and a potluck dinner afterwards. You are asked to bring a dish or two to share.
Our message this morning was from Mark 1:35-39- The Passion of Jesus. I invite you to read verses 14-45, as Jesus begins his earthly ministry calling his disciples and performing miracles and, in verse 35, we see Jesus rising early in the morning to pray in solitude with the father. We heard of prayers being answered and praised God for the answer.
Wednesday morning Bible study is at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome. Wednesday evening Bible study will resume April 5 at 6:30 p.m.
