Mother Nature could do with a little transformation. The day prior to Greenfield/Northwestern playing host to the West Central Cougars in both softball and baseball at Rives Lake, the weather was sunny and in the mid 60s. The day of the game it was rainy and in the low 50s making for a miserable afternoon for the players and fans.

Talon Albrecht took the mound for the Tigers. With such a cold windy day, it was hard for the pitchers to keep their throwing hands warm.

I got it, I got it, I got it! But she didn’t have it. The ball tipped the back of Claire Wood’s glove and fell for a double in the outfield.
