Come to the Table is a free community meal sponsored by First Baptist Church Jerseyville. The meal will be served every Wednesday evening at the Feyerabend Building, 201 East Spruce Street.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the meal will be served at 6 p.m. There will be faith stories and songs at 6:30 p.m. The event concludes at 7 p.m.
Upcoming menus:
Wednesday, March 30: Smoked pork butt – Steve’s Old Cabin BBQ, baked macaroni and cheese, smokehouse baked beans, peanut butter pie and fudge brownies.
Wednesday, April 5: “Easter” ham, twice baked potato casserole, roasted asparagus, Jell-O salad, dinner roll, carrot cake.
Wednesday, April 12: Baked lasagna, garden salad, garlic bread sticks, striped chocolate pudding delight.
Wednesday, April 19: Apple and bacon stuffed pork loin, oven roasted parmesan potatoes, glazed baby carrots, “surprise” dessert.
Wednesday, April 26: Taco and nacho fixing bar, Spanish rice, fresh fruit cup, churros.
