The annual Illinois AIGA (Association of International Gospel Assemblies) Convention is set for Friday, April 28; and Saturday, April 29, at Grafton Full Gospel Church (GFGC), 15065 Elm St.
The opening service will start at 2 p.m., on April 28, with special music presented by members of the congregation. The Rev. Rhonda Jackson of Godfrey will be guest speaker. Following dinner at 4:30 p.m., the second service will begin at 6:30 p.m. The church Praise and Worship Team will provide music for the event with the Rev. Mark LaBelle of Mattoon as guest speaker.
Following lunch at noon on April 29, Fred Church and the Spirituals will be guests for a musical program. The Rev. Samuel Williams, chairman of the AIGA Illinois State Committee and former pastor of the church, will give the closing message. The closing service will begin at 2 p.m. GFGC is affiliated with the AIGA.
