Partnering with several local banks, Jersey Community High School (JCHS) has announced their FOCUS students of the month selections for April.
Each month, JCHS recognizes students through the FOCUS program. FOCUS is an acronym which stands for: Finding One Clearly Unique Student, is a program that acknowledges students each week for their performance in academics or kindness.
Each week, teachers may recognize students who have performed well in their classes by selecting them as FOCUS students for that particular week. Students who receive the most nominations in a particular month are then selected to represent their class for that month.
April’s FOCUS student selections were sponsored by the Jerseyville Banking Center, CNB Bank and Trust, and Jersey State Bank.
JCHS and Jerseyville Banking Center announced FOCUS Students of the Month for April are sophomore Dinah Slusser and junior Ryan Bolds. Slusser and Bolds were presented their awards by Kyle Kelly.
