Joe and Carol (Lahey) Nord will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on July 2 with a drive-thru at the Jerseyville Fairgrounds from 1 to 3 p.m.. They were married on June 29, 1963 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Jerseyville.
They are the parents of three children: David (Patti) Nord, Denise (Chad) Sanders and Daniel (Camey) Nord. They also have six grandchildren: Derek, Blake, Erika, Benjamin, Nathan and Catelyn.
There will be signs to follow at the fairgrounds to drive through and see Joe and Carol and congratulate them on their 60 years of marriage.
Also, it will be Joe’s 84th birthday as well. Please, no presents. Your presence is all that is required.
