Members of Dr. Silas Hamilton Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution put up their Patriot Christmas tree this year at the Jersey County Government Administration Building in Jerseyville on the first of December. The “ornaments” feature a silhouette of a Revolutionary soldier for each member and her patriot’s names to hang on the tree. Fifty-one ornaments decorate the tree.
