News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school and 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Dec. 17 we had 23 attending Sunday school and 29 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Happy birthday wishes go out to Lloyd Lee Leonard Dec. 23. There are no anniversaries to report.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “The Big Deceiver.”
Sunday afternoon, Dec. 17 members from Barrow Baptist Church went Christmas caroling at White Hall Nursing and Rehab. Lois Hart, one of our members, is a patient there and was happily greeted by all of the carolers.
Don’t forget our times for Christmas Eve. Sunday morning, 9:30 a.m. will be a church service only. Sunday evening, 5:00 p.m. will be our Christmas Eve candlelight service.
As we go through the holidays, don’t forget “The Reason For The Season.”
