Cooper Eddinger scored 22 points, and West Central beat Springfield Little Flower 52-38 Jan. 30 in the Consolation Championship game of the Virginia 8th Grade Tournament.
West Central led 11-9 after one quarter and 27-18 at halftime. They led 37-27 after three quarters.
Eddinger scored 16 points in the second half.
Ozly Walker scored nine points for the Cougars, and Ben Bangert scored eight. Eli Crain scored six points, and Preston Adams scored five. Hayden Johns scored two points.
