Pere Marquette State Park will be presenting informative programs about bald eagles throughout the winter. Visitors will learn to distinguish between immature and mature bald eagles, what eagles eat, why they spend winter months in the area, and much more.
All programs will begin at the park’s visitor center at 8:30 a.m. and reservations are required.
There will be a video presentation and program followed by an observational drive to view the wintering bald eagles.
Bald Eagle Days will continue throughout February on the 1st, 2nd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, and 26th and in March on the 8th.
Be sure to dress warmly, have a full tank of gas and bring binoculars.
