On Friday, April 19, at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Jerseyville Methodist Church, students from the piano teaching studio of Gretchen B. Taylor will present a recital of varied piano selections, including several highlighting prolific composer Kevin Olson.
Studio awards and special recognitions will be presented at the end of the recital. Participating students are Abigail Wedig, Sophia Eberhart, Emmersyn Weirich, Josie and Ayden Droege, Mason Weber, Quinn and Hudson Whittman, and Abigail Piaza. Mrs. Taylor will conclude the program with a performance of a Kevin Olson piece as well.
The recital is free and open to family, friends and music enthusiasts and should last approximately one hour.
