Come to the Table is a free community meal sponsored by First Baptist Church Jerseyville. The meal will be served every Wednesday evening at the First Baptist Church of Jerseyville, 200 West Pearl Street.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the meal will be served at 5:45 p.m. There will be faith stories and songs at 6:30 p.m. The event concludes at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, May 1: Biscuits and sausage gravy, apple smoke bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit.
Wednesday, May 8: Broccoli cheese soup, chicken salad on croissant, potato chips, cook’s choice dessert.
Wednesday, May 15: Baked spaghetti with meat sauce, lettuce salad with garlic bread stick, cook’s choice dessert.
Wednesday, May 22: Sinclair’s fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, buttered corn and biscuit, cook’s choice dessert.
Wednesday, May 29: Cheesy ham and potato casserole, cole slaw with red lobster biscuits, cook’s choice dessert.
