Come to the Table is a free community meal sponsored by First Baptist Church Jerseyville. The meal will be served every Wednesday evening at the First Baptist Church of Jerseyville, 200 West Pearl Street.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the meal will be served at 5:45 p.m. There will be faith stories and songs at 6:30 p.m. The event concludes at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, May 29: Cheesy ham and potato casserole, cole slaw with red lobster biscuits, cook’s choice dessert.
June 5: Pancakes and sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit cup.
June 12: Brats and/or hamburgers on buns, macaroni and cheese, seasoned green beans, cupcakes.
June 19: Chicken tetrazzini, garden salad, garlic bread stick, cook’s choice dessert.
June 26: Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, dinner roll, cook’s choice dessert.
