Carrollton Grade School was host for the IESA Class 1A regional last week. Carrollton, who was the third seed, defeated Bunker Hill 18-0 in the opening round. Saturday afternoon, they played Greenfield/Northwestern in the semi-final, defeating Greenfield 12-8 to reach the finals where they will play St. John’s for the championship. St. John’s, who was the No. 1 seed, received a bye the first week and then defeated Calhoun in the semi-final 10-0 to earn the right to play Carrollton in the final.
