Greenfield-Northwestern’s Wyatt Stuart was a defensive coach’s dream on Friday, Sept. 13, at Pleasant Hill. Defense always wants ‘containment’ and Stuart did just that with 10 solo tackles and five assists in the Tigers third win of the season when they took over on the Wolves’ field. The Tigers are 3-0 on the season and 1-0 in WIVC South Conference.

Aidan Williams kicks off for the Tigers on Friday, September 20, in the WIVC South football game with North Greene. Williams hot boot sent the pigskin into orbit nine times for Greenfield-Northwestern with two longs of forty-eight yards each and a total of 369 yards on the win over the Spartans. The Tigers are 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in the conference.

North Greene’s Logan Tepen is brought down by Greenfield-Northwestern’s Ashton Preusen after catching a sixteen yard pass for Garret Hazelwonder. Preusen had plenty of help from Talon Albrecht, Ty Bowman and Garrett Costello on the tackle. Tepen had hauled in a 68 yard pass earlier in the evening for a Spartan touchdown but the Tiger aerial attack was stellar with only one of eight passes not being completed by Albrecht to spoil North Greene’s homecoming game with a 56-14 defeat.
