Albert W. Schimmel IV | 37 | Albuquerque, NM

Albert passed away on Aug. 11, 2024 at the age of 37. He is survived by two sons, Damien Sedillo and Seth Schimmel; a daughter, Raylynn Schimmel; his father, Albert W. Schimmel III; and his brother, Joseph (Danica) Schimmel; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Schimmel and his sister, Heidi Schimmel.

Albert was born on June 6, 1987 in Springfield, IL and lived in Jacksonville and Pittsfield, IL until he moved to Albuquerque in 1995. He completed his schooling at the Roswell, NM Job Corps Center, served in the US Army at Fort Leonard Wood, MO; worked as a security guard in Albuquerque; and as a warehouseman in Amarillo, TX. Albert had a kind heart, a great sense of humor, and was a devoted, loving father. He enjoyed music, drawing and working on his car.

A Celebration of Life was held at the Los Duranes Community Center in Albuquerque, NM. His cremains will be scattered on the graves of his mother and sister at the Goodin Cemetery south of Pittsfield.
