Get ready to celebrate the holiday season with the Jersey County Business Association (JCBA) as the beloved *12 Days of Christmas Shopping Adventure* makes its return! Kicking off Monday, December 2nd, and running through Friday, December 13th, this event is the perfect way to explore, support, and celebrate local businesses in Jerseyville.
Participating is easy and fun! Visit JCBA member businesses on their designated days and times to collect punches on your game card. Gather punches from at least 15 of the 34 participating businesses to qualify for the grand prize drawing, where you could win JCBA Gift Certificates valued at $300, $200, or $100. Collect all 34 punches to double your chances in the drawing! No purchase is required to play, but why not take the opportunity to shop or dine locally? Simply present your punch card in person to qualify.
Many businesses will feature exclusive promotions, special raffles, holiday treats, and more on their designated days. Whether you’re completing your holiday shopping or just stopping by for some festive cheer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Becky Wayne, JCBA’s Director, shares the event’s heartwarming intent, “This tradition began as a way to bring people into our local shops before the holiday rush. Over the years, we’ve added non-retail businesses, restaurants, and new locations to keep the adventure fresh and exciting. We also offer a variety of timeframes to accommodate different schedules, ensuring everyone has a chance to participate. It’s wonderful to see the community’s enthusiasm grow each year, from players to businesses alike.”
Pick up your punch cards now and check out the business schedule at any participating location, the JCBA office (209 N State St, Jerseyville), or the JCH Wellness Center starting at 4:30 AM on December 2nd. Completed punch cards must be returned to the JCBA office by the end of the day on Monday, December 16th. An after-hours drop-off mailbox is available.
The grand prize drawing will be held live on the JCBA Facebook page on Tuesday, December 17th, at 2:00 PM. Stay tuned to the JCBA Facebook Event page or visit www.jcba-il.us/days for the latest updates, a list of participating businesses, and their designated schedules.
