Robert Lee “Bob” Smith, 84, of Elsah, also known as Groundskeeper, Smitty, and Red, passed away at 12:34 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025 at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville. Father Patrick Gibbons will officiate. Burial will follow at Elsah Cemetery with the Grafton American Legion conducting full military honors. Memorials may be given to Migratory Waterfowl Hunters, Inc., in care of the funeral home.
