With spring approaching, work will begin on the proposed park where the former Bank of Calhoun County once stood near the riverfront in Hardin. Two gazebos, trees planted on the west side, shrubs, walkways, benches, and a flagpole will complete the park. At the Hardin Board of Trustees meeting one bid was received to build a 14-foot gazebo. Eventually the village wants two gazebos in its proposed park.
