The Tri-County Antique Club is gearing up for their annual Olden Days Festival set for Saturday, Aug. 23, and Sunday, Aug. 24, “Under the Windmill” at 23946 State Highway 3.
This year the Tri-County Antique Club will be celebrating their 34th anniversary during their annual fundraising event as they celebrate the past in the present.
The weekend will include threshing and sawmilling, garden tractor pulls, pedal tractor pulls, a blacksmith and more as families marvel at the antique tractors, enjoy some food and visit local vendors.
“Each day the Blacksmith shop will be open along with other family-friendly events such as the barrel train ride, agriland play area, grain play box, covered wagon rides, food, and the Flaunt Museum and Tool Museum. Food will be also available both days with breakfast starting at 7 a.m.,” Tri-County Antique Club said in a press release. “On Sunday a Kubota Pedal Tractor, from SIEVERS EQUIPMENT CO. will be raffled off. Raffle tickets can be purchased from any Tri-County Antique member or at their booth at Farm and Home on weekends. Vendor and Heritage Demonstrators are welcome to participate. Admission is $5.00 for adults and free to children 12 and under.”
The Olden Days Festival will start on Saturday, Aug. 23, at 7 a.m. with threshing and sawmilling at 10 a.m., garden tractor pulls at 11 a.m., pedal tractor pulls at 1 p.m. and the parade of power at 2 p.m. with the day’s events concluding at 5 p.m.
The festival will run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 24, with Country Church beginning at 9 a.m., threshing and sawmilling at 10 a.m., car show at 11 a.m., pedal tractor pulls at 12 p.m., garden tractor pulls at 1 p.m., and the parade of power at 2 p.m.
