Delhi Baptist Church held its annual Awana Grand Prix on Friday, Feb. 28.
Awana clubbers had taken a pinewood derby car kit and made it into their own shape and design to race down the track. There were several heats of elimination until the fastest three cars were determined. The clubbers and spectators enjoyed hotdogs, chips, cookies and jello jiggler cars in between heats.
The three trophy winners for speed were Greyson in first place, Weston in second and Titus in third. Three design trophies were given out also. Titus received first place, Harley received second and Finn received third. All attendees enjoyed the evening at the races.
