ν Griggsville – Perry High School NHS is sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive, today, Thursday, March 20 from 8:30a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Nichol Gym. Call Mrs. Conkright at the school to sign up for a time or you may log on to redcrossblood.org to register yourself. Anyone 16 and over is welcome to donate. Those 16 year olds will need a parent permission form filled out prior to donating. They may pick one up from Conkright any time until the drive.
ν March 21 – Pikeland Music Boosters Spaghetti Supper at Pikeland Community School at 5 p.m.
ν The Pikeland Community School Student Council is collecting soda tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. The collection will last until April 10. Contact any PCS student council member or the school 219-285-9462.
ν Pike County Anglers hosting a youth fishing day at Pittsfield City Lake, East Boat Ramp, April 12 from 9 a.m. until noon. Open to the public and all youth are invited.
ν Hunter Safety class at the Community Club in Pleasant Hill, March 28 and 29. Class starts at 6 p.m. the 28 and runs until 9.m. and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. the 29. Text Dean Spann 217-491-2436, or email vpspann@gmail to register for the class.
ν Perry Association Community Enrichment (PACE) second annual fish fry March 28 at 5p.m. The meal will consist of catfish, sides, desserts and drinks for a freewill donation. Carry outs will also be available. All money raised will be put back into the community. This event will be held at the Perry United Methodist Church – 106 E South St., Perry, and will go until the fish is gone.
ν Pittsfield High School Drama Club presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, April 3-6 at the Jon Robb Auditorium at the high school. April 3-5, curtain up at 7:30, Sunday, April 6, 2 p.m.
