In support of Got Faith? Ministries’ efforts to feed and inspire the hungry the community is recognizing the first weekend of May as Got Faith? Weekend.
In recognition of Got Faith? Weekend local businesses throughout the county will be offering specials and discounts to folks who come in wearing a Got Faith? T-shirt from Thursday, May 1, to Sunday, May 4.
To kick things off on Thursday, May 1, the Got Faith? will also be celebrating National Day of Prayer at 508 W. Pine Street and will have a cookout at 6 p.m.
Throughout the weekend people will be able to find local discounts and specials like free small cone from GoGo May’s Sundae Scoop, $10 off a $50 or more purchase at Linn’s Shoe Store, $1 off any drink at Scooter’s Coffee, a free vanilla cone from Betty’s Get-n-Go and much more.
Got Faith? T-shirts can be purchased for $10 from Martha’s Closed, Linn’s Shoes, Found Wellness and Beauty, 16 West, 2nd Time Around and by contacting Got Faith? at 618-567-5877.
Founder Steve Pegram, said he encourages everyone consider donating the money saved during Got Faith? Weekend to local non-profits or to put it in the offering basket at church on Sunday.
