The Jersey County Health Department invites community members to a free Lunch and Learn event focused on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on Friday, May 23, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The event will be held at the JCHD East Annex Community Meeting Room, located at 220 East County Road, Jerseyville, IL.
This informative session will explore the impact of ACEs on long-term health and well-being, and how communities can work together to build resilience and support healing. Whether you’re a parent, educator, healthcare provider, or simply interested in learning more, this event offers valuable insights into how early life experiences shape our lives.
Lunch will be provided at no cost, but registration is required.
To reserve your spot and lunch, please call (618) 498-9565 ext. 305.
“We believe that understanding ACEs is a crucial step toward building a healthier, more compassionate community,” said Becky Shipley, JCHDs Director of Public Health Nursing. “This event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and take action.”
Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. For more information, call Becky at (618) 498-9565 ext. 305.
