Diana M. Kleidon | 66 | Roodhouse

Diana M. Kleidon, 66, of Roodhouse, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born, July 19, 1958, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Earl W. and Barbara J. Menzies Kleidon.
Surviving is daughter, Amber (companion, Jon Hawkins) Bishop of Roodhouse; grandchildren, Thomas (companion, JoAnna Pollard), Kelsey Bishop, Brooklyn Bishop Dustin; great grandchildren, Sohpia, Elizabeth, Addison, Rilynn and Miles; great grand dog, Oliver Jones; siblings, Earl (Joan) Kleidon of Ava, Bonnie Baumgarter of Carrollton and Mike (Kathy) Kleidon of White Hall and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she was very fond of.
Diana worked as an LPN in her earlier years, then worked as a mental health technician for the state. Lastly, she worked in a group home in Jacksonville. After retiring, she moved back to her hometown of Roodhouse. Diana always thought of others before herself, hardly ever complained about anything. She sure did love her coffee! She enjoyed getting family and friends together for picnics in the park and cookouts. You would always know when you were ready to leave her house because she would send you home with something good to eat later. Her daughter Amber was her best friend. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, then came her great grandchildren whom she loved dearly also. She had a special loving bond with her cousin, Brenda (Tucker) Bigley and dear friend, Brenda (Havlin) McCarthy. Diana was also a lifetime Chicago Cubs fan, if they weren’t playing, she would watch the Atlanta Braves. Her animals Brooklyn, Penny, Daisy and Kit were her babies also. The last three months her health was declining, she was on hospice, with her daughter caring for her. If you knew Diana, she always had to have things planned out, she spent the final days of course, making sure everyone was going to be ok. She passed peacefully at home with her family by her side. Her sweet hugs and kisses were the best! She will be missed!
A Celebration of Life will be held on Diana’s birthday, 1 p.m. July 19, 2025, at her house in Roodhouse. Daws Family Funeral Home in Roodhouse is assisting with the arrangements.
