News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is invited to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, June 22, we had 16 attending Sunday school and 25 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. There are no birthdays or anniversaries to report for this week.
Our pastor was on vacation again this week and we had the privilege of having Bro. Daniel Myers fill the pulpit.
Our July monthly ladies luncheon will be a week later than usual. It will be Tuesday, July 15th at noon in the fellowship hall.
We will again be holding Adult Bible School Saturday, Aug. 23 from 2 to 5. More info to follow.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “This Ole’ House.”
The temperatures are predicted to be very warm for this week so be careful and be sure to check on the elderly.
