Hello from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is invited to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, July 19, we had 18 attending Sunday school and 26 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to pray for include Lois Hart, Peggy Clemons, Judy Cannon, Judy McCurley, Linda Hallock, Todd Carriger, Josh Cannon, Don Bigley, Annie Ruyle Chaffin, Blaze and Maci Farris, John Fryman, Robert George, Barnabas Griffith, Bob Newton, Johan Seymoure, Dixie Snyder, Carolyn White, and the families of Jim Norris and Kipp Proefrock.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Peggy Clemons, July 26. There are no anniversaries to report this week.
On Tuesday, July 14th we held our monthly ladies luncheon. 18 ladies were present to enjoy a delicious lunch of deli sandwiches, veggies and dip, chips and a yummy dessert. We played numerous games of Bingo and Doris Vestel won last bingo. Joy Waters won the door prize.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “Last Evenings Sun.”
We held our monthly service at EverVella of White Hall. A nice crowd from EverVella attended and enjoyed some of the old songs and a message about sheep.
