Lisa White | 63 | Hamburg

Lisa D. White of Hamburg passed away and joined the kingdom of Heaven on Friday, June 27th at Alton Memorial hospital surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on Jan 20,1962 in Carrollton, Illinois to Louis and Geneva (Slone) DeSherlia. She married the love of her life Elwood Lee White Jr. on Aug 23, 1985, in Jerseyville, Illinois. Lisa was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She spent the last 41 years as a Registered Nurse doing what she had a true passion for, taking care of anyone who needed it. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren taking family trips to the ocean, hosting holiday dinners, and watching her grandchildren swimming while having family BBQs, she also loved buying and fixing houses in her free time.

She is survived by her husband Elwood White of Hamburg, daughters: Stephanie White (Matt Alexander) of hamburg, and Jessica (Sean) Connell of Hardin; her grandchildren: Claire Johnson, Molly White, Keegan Alexander, Eve White,Travis White Jr., Alyssa Connell, and Shane Connell; siblings: Melba (Pyatt) Bryant of Bolivar MO. And Jerry R Pyatt of Hannah City IL.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Louis and Geneva (Slone) DeSherlia, mother-in-law: Beatrice Ebker; father-in-law, Elwood White Sr.; siblings: Sue Ellen (DeSherlia) Noble, Howard A. Pyatt Jr. and son: Travis L White.

Visitation was held at Indian Creek Church of Christ on Wednesday, July 2, from 12 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Burial was followed at Indian Creek Cemetery. Dinner was served at the church immediately following the services.
