News from Pastor Mancel Day and Barrow Baptist Church. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is invited to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, July 27, we had 19 attending Sunday school and 26 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. As August approaches, don’t forget our monthly ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, Aug. 12 and our adult VBS will be Saturday, Aug. 23.
During morning worship several songs and readings were shared. Rich Caskey sang “One Day at a Time.”
The Lord has truly blessed us with rain in the last week. Don’t forget to thank him. The forecast sounds like much cooler weather is coming later this week.
