Timothy J. Beiermann | 58 | Carrollton
Timothy J. Beiermann, age 58 of Carrollton passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025 in Smithfield. He was born March 28, 1967 in Jerseyville, the son of Cletus and Ruth Ann “Shorty” Mullink Beiermann. He married Carol Miller Beiermann on Sept. 8, 2001 in Carrollton and she survives.
He is also survived by his children, Zachary Joseph, Matthew Cletus and Mara Jade Beiermann all of Carrollton; his mother, Ruth “Shorty” Beiermann of Carrollton; his sisters, Deanna (Dave) Loepker of Jerseyville, Denise (Rob) Lippert of Carrollton, Jan Beiermann (Greg Scott) of Carrollton and Christine (Dr. Curt) Farr of Macomb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cletus Beiermann.
Tim was always smiling, whistling and singing (loud). He met the love of his life in 1995, and from that moment on, he and Carol were inseparable. Married for 23 years, they built a deeply beautiful life together that was filled with laughter, mutual respect, and the kind of love that made everything feel easy. They were soulmates, best friends, and each other’s favorite person. Their connection was rooted in joy, support, and an effortless understanding of one another.
Tim believed in leading by example. He encouraged his children, Zachary, Matthew and Mara, to become well-rounded individuals by staying active through sports, thinking for themselves, working hard, and keeping things simple. His own journey was one of dedication. In the last year, he had lost 70 pounds by walking every day and lifestyle changes and has always been a work-out fanatic at heart.
He loved his family and especially enjoyed hosting family cookouts, watching sports, and spending quality time with his three kids. Tim had a deep love for football, whether playing, watching, coaching, or taking stats. He played in high school for the Carrollton Hawks (‘85) and later in college for the Monmouth Scots (‘89), where he loved his teammates like brothers.
Outside of football, Tim loved fishing with his boys and Uncle Rob, and he especially loved the tradition of the big family fish fry. Tim also had a special love for cats which he inherited from his mother, and the cats names were usually Morris (whether boy or girl). He enjoyed cleaning fish, relaxing by working on his art projects in the basement, listening to some grunge music, with “The Herd” or “PTI” sports podcasts on the TV.
Music filled the house when Tim was around. He had a loud, fun-loving personality and a gift for bringing people together. He was a family man who wanted nothing more than to stay connected to the people he loved. He raised his children to have his loud personality and kept the house lively. He enjoyed family walks and always did whatever he could to make everyone feel included.
Funeral mass was celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Carrollton. Burial followed in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. A prayer service was held at 3:45.
