The following police reports were filed between October 3 and October 9, 2025. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individual was charged with a felony:
Franklin M. Heindricks, dob 10-01-1988, residential arson, two charges of criminal damage to property between $500-$10K.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
James H. Bannister, dob 10-23-1971, disorderly conduct.
Hiley A. Crump, dob 10-11-1993, criminal trespass to vehicles, operate without insurance, no valid registration1st and 2nd, criminal trespass to vehicle/physical control, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Katherine M. McBride, dob 4-05-1971, battery/makes physical contact.
David E. Smith, dob 6-14-1979, carry/possess firearm/1st.
Nicholas B. Warnhoff, dob 8-21-1986, violate order of protection.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Timothy A. Dunse, dob 1-16-1972, domestic battery/bodily harm, two charges of disorderly conduct.
The following individual was charged with an ordinance violation:
John C. Garcia, dob 2-24-1972, disorderly conduct.
The following individual was charged with a major traffic violation:
Connie S. Dirksmeyer, dob 10-30-1978, driving on a suspended license, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Eric W. Hazelwonder, dob 9-15-1971, driving on a revoked license.
Cody A. Thompson, dob 1-07-1987, driving on a revoked license.
The following individual was charged with a traffic violation:
Amanda J. Behl, dob 9-22-1979, driving 11-14 mph above limit.
Jason Lamont Clemmons, dob 3-19-1981, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Jonathan D. Lucas, dob 1-16-1966, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Cory A. Mike, dob 6-27-2003, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
Mason R. Miller, dob 8-01-2007, operate uninsured motor vehicle, registration expiration/1st and 2nd, improper passing on the left.
Edward M. Rappel, dob 1-18-1979, unlicensed.
Jeremy Duncan Reisch, dob 1-19-1980, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Melinda A. Snider, dob 4-24-1959, operate uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed.
Brodie L. Vanausdoll, dob 10-21-2005, operated uninsured motor vehicle.
