Hello from Pastor Mancel Day and Barrow Baptist Church. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by morning worship at 10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Oct. 26, we had 18 attending Sunday school and 20 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Happy birthday wishes go out to Doris Vestel Oct. 28, Mary Steele Oct. 29 and to Lora Steele Nov. 6. There are no anniversaries to report.
24 adults enjoyed our adult VBS on Saturday afternoon. We sang songs, said the pledges, did crafts, had cookies and kool-aid, had a bible story and a message. It was very enjoyable and brought back a lot of memories.
Don’t forget Trunk or Treat on the square in Roodhouse Friday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m.
As November rapidly approaches, our ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, Nov. 11, at noon in the fellowship hall.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “I Dreamed I Searched Heaven for You.”
