If you weren’t at the Calhoun high school football field on Saturday chances are you were watching the game on a television and if you’re like me, you were biting your nails and pacing and cheering our boys on. Of course, thanks to the newspaper. I am right down there and get to see it up close and personal and that’s a whole different game. Our boys fought hard, our coaches encouraged and kept the plays going and our cheerleaders cheered loud. Of course Jim Bob kept the boom going on the hillside. What an amazing game and Greenfield fought hard, but the Warriors prevailed and won 22-14 in overtime. We will take it to the road next week. Playing Casey – Westfield with a 2 p.m. kick off time.
