I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, successful Black Friday and a warm and safe snow weekend.
Jarod Gibson did an amazing job on our streets and alleys here in Kampsville. I personally am thankful for him coming up and doing my driveway when I messaged him.
My Black Friday crew began our shopping adventure at 3:30 a.m. and returned home at 8:30 p.m. We found some bargains and had a lot of laughs.
St. Anselm’s Game night Bingo Saturday, Dec. 6, doors open at 5 p.m. games begin at 6 p.m. Chicken and Dumplings, chicken salad, hot dogs, chips, desserts and drinks.
Get those quilt chances bought.
Don’t forget the amazing quilt raffle. A very special quilt is being raffled. Quilted by Betty Hayn, Helen Vetter, Judy Benz, Sherry Klunk, Cecilia Hayn and Maymie Petrowski.
Also St. Anslem’s Hall can be rented out for any of your events.
Kampsville Kids Christmas Party Sunday, Dec. 14, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Center for American Archeology Gym. I’ve been busy working on some amazing raffle baskets and prizes.
St. Norberts Live Nativity Dec. 8 from 6-6:30 p.m. It’s always such a great event. If you’ve been there before, I’m sure you’re going back to see it again and if you haven’t seen it, you’re gonna want to.
Sympathy to the family of Betty Wendt on her passing. Betty was truly one of the sweetest people I ever met. Please keep Ron and Jodi and their family in your prayers and continue prayers for.
