Ol’ Man Winter sure came and is enjoying his stay and sliding right into Dec. here! Quite a snow we sure got over the past weekend and now be sure to keep your coat and gloves handy!
Be sure to remember to get your gently used toys to the Pleasant Hill Community Club today, Dec. 3 from 5-7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 7 from 3-5 p.m. Then for those parents wishing to shop anonymously, the dates will start Dec. 10 Please contact Joe Collard at (573)629-7257 or Beth Burdick at (217)491-4177 to shop or any questions. Would you like to come meet and greet Santa and get your picture too! He is making his way into town this Saturday and would love for you to join him for Breakfast down at the Pleasant Hill Community Club! You just bring yourself and your littles from 9-11a.m., cost is only $10 per person. Addie Rodhouse will be doing free photos.
Well, A Pleasant Hill Christmas Parade is in the works also, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 21. The more the merrier to come join in this wonderful Holiday Celebration! The parade line up will be 5 p.m. and parade will start at 6 p.m. You sure don’t want your kiddos to miss this exciting beginning to Christmas Week! Let us never forget the attack on Pearl Harbor, the start of WW11 Dec. 7, 1941, the pain and suffering we could never imagine but oh how fortunate we are to live in such a free land but yet it is not free folks, Thank a Veteran! May God bless Our Military Always!
