Hello from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is invited to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Jan. 18, 2026 we had 13 attending Sunday school and 18 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Happy birthday wishes go out to Richard Caskey Jan. 25. There are no anniversaries to report.
We held our monthly ladies luncheon, Tuesday, Jan. 13th. Fourteen ladies shared a wonderful meal of shepherd’s pie, baked beans, cookies and rolls. Several fun games of Bingo were played. Our next ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, Feb. 10 at noon in the fellowship hall.
Bro. Charles Martin filled the pulpit again this week due to our pastor recently had surgery. Pastor Mancel Day has a doctor’s appointment this week and hopes to be released to come back to church next Sunday.
We will be holding our quarterly business meeting, Sunday, Jan. 25, 2026 following morning worship.
During morning worship Bro. Charles Martin sang “Give Them All” and Rich Caskey sang “Streets of City of Gold.”
