News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Feb. 1, we had 17 attending Sunday school and 20 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nations in your prayers. It was certainly good to be back in the house of the Lord Sunday. We cancelled services last Sunday due to the extreme weather. Hopefully all of you have managed to stay safe during this weather. It was also great to have our pastor back with us after having surgery Jan. 5.
Ladies, don’t forget our ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, Feb. 10 at noon in the fellowship hall.
During morning worship memories and readings were shared. Rich Caskey sang “I Bowed on My Knees and Cried Holy.”
Happy Anniversary wishes go out to Ron & Doris Vestel, Feb. 5. There are no birthdays to report this week.
