Recently I saw where Brussels Community School, District 42 had shared how incredibly proud they were to share that their students and one of their outstanding staff members, namely Chad Brodbeck, were featured on the Illinois State Board of Education CTE webpage. They gave a huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to Kerry Lorton, Director of CTE, for submitting an article to the Illinois State Board of Education for helping to showcase the incredible work happening in the Brussels classrooms. They were also grateful to the Illinois State Board of Education for recognizing the Brussels students and staff and the powerful impact of Career and Technical Education. This just goes to show why the teachers do this work and why they invest in students to make a difference.
