Congratulations to Lynn Curry on her induction into the 2026 class of the John Wood Community College Agriculture Hall of Fame! Other inductees included Glenn Raines and Dr. Jeff Galle.A JWCC Agricultural Education Center Facebook post stated “Raines, Curry and Galle have all gone above and beyond in their professional achievement or with their contributions to the JWCC Ag program in various ways. We cannot thank these individuals enough – we would not be the program we are without them.” Curry, Raines and Galle were inducted at the 2026 Ag Banquet. A well-deserved honor!

A “Blessings Box” is on the alley side of the North Pike District Library and is available to anyone, 24/7, to take what is needed or give what can be given.
Pre-K screenings for the Griggsville-Perry School District will be held on March 11 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Griggsville building. This screening is for children two years/eight months to five years old (not eligible for kindergarten in the fall). Contact Mandy Daniels at 217-833-2352 with questions or to schedule a screening.
The first Apple Festival planning meeting for the 2026 festival is scheduled for March 16 at 6p.m. at Griggsville City Hall. There are plenty of seats at the planning table for anyone wanting to be a part of this volunteer committee. Plan to help and be part of a fifty-year tradition!
