The following police reports were filed between April 17 and April 23, 2026. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Trent J. Devore, dob 9-26-2005, aggravated battery/public place, aggravated battery/use deadly weapon, knife/gas with intent school/public.
Buddy A. Lamkin, dob 10-24-1990, criminal trespass to residence/person present.
Cheyenne N. Long, dob 11-01-1993, possession of meth less than 5 grams.
The following individual was charged with a misdemeanor:
Brian A. King, dob 5-29-1976, operate without insurance, operate motor vehicle/registration/suspended.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Johannes I. Keller, dob 5-03-2000, driving under the influence of alcohol.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Erin L. Settles, dob 5-29-1984, domestic battery/bodily harm.
The following individual was charged with an ordinance violation:
Stephanie L. Oliver, dob 3-13-2001, negligent driving.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Riley Jacob Hernandez-Gonzalez, dob 10-23-2006, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
Brian A. King, dob 5-29-1976, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Eric G. Beatty, dob n/a, failure to the right-of-way/intersection.
Jonathan T. Coats, dob 3-08-1991, driving 11-14 mph above limit.
Faith A. Egelhoff, dob 4-25-2002, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Aden C. Hancock, dob 12-04-2000, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Esther S. Short, dob 10-05-1955, failure to the right-of-way/intersection.
Raphael P. Taylor, dob 4-19-1996, failure to the right-of-way/intersection.
Trinady A. White, dob 9-22-2002, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
