The following police reports were filed between April 24 and April 30 2026. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Jacob C. Esparza, dob 12-22-1995, conceal/misrepresent vehicle identification, aiding/abetting certified original/sale/title, driving on a suspended license, display plate attachment/1-2nd.
Derreck D. Benedict, dob 4-22-1988, possession of meth less than 5 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Aaron Gentry, dob 12-21-2005, retail theft/display merchandise less than $300.
Chevi Eugene Howell, dob 4-18-2007, retail theft/display merchandise less than $300.
Kristi Deann Rice, dob 9-02-1975, retail theft/display merchandise less than $300.
Michael T. Vazis, dob 10-28-1961, criminal damage to property less than $500.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Scot Blasa, dob n/a, junk/trash/refust, unlicensed-inoperable vehicle.
Andrew Gabby, dob 6-30-1985, negligent driving.
Nathan James Gilbert, dob 10-30-2004, negligent driving.
Dagen T. Heafner, dob 11-29-2005, negligent driving.
John Morgan, dob n/a, unlicensed vehicle.
Tricia Preston, dob n/a, junk/trash/refuse.
Nicholas Sagez, dob n/a, zone R3 permit use tents back, junk, trash, refuse.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Zebedee D. Allison, 5-18-1984, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
Antonio L. Cotton, dob 4-11-1976, driving on a revoked license.
Laura-Danielle Y. Kretzer, dob 4-27-1995, driving on a suspended license.
Tonya M. Manninger, dob 9-16-1978, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Trent N. Tuey, dob 7-10-1991, driving on a suspended license, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Carmello L. Foote, dob 10-15-1985, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Neil D. Franklin, dob 4-11-1967, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Lydia J. Helmich, dob 10-17-1988, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
Kaylee L. Isringhausen, dob 1-17-2007, operate uninsured motor vehicle, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
Laura-Danielle Y. Kretzer, dob 4-27-1995, driving on a suspended license/FTA.
Dominic F. Reed, dob 11-10-1978, driving 15-20 mph above limit, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Daniel E. Rothe, dob 5-23-1955, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Ethan B. Settles, dob 3-14-2008, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
Joshua S. Shaw, dob 12-21-1999, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Paul E. Wahls, dob 7-30-1964, driving on a suspended license.
