Another Medicare Scam that you need to be made aware of. If there is someone that you do not know that is calling you, sending you emails or texts offering free medical equipment or any other services. Hang up or delete them. You and your physician are the only ones that should decide what equipment that you need. Scammers are wanting your Medicare information so that they can bill Medicare for services. For individuals on hospice, if a scammer sign- up for hospice without your knowledge, you could lose your regular Medicare benefits.
