Robert V. Rhodes, 81 of Pearl, died Saturday June 20, 2026, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born on May 6, 1945, in Calhoun County, to Verdie and Lula Gourley Rhodes. He married Mary Ann Turnbaugh June 28, 1980, and she preceded him in death June 14, 2013.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield, IL with visitation held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Green Pond Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to be made to the Pearl Christian Church or to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home.
