Mary Catherine ‘Katie’ Hubbard | 88 | Pittsfield

Mary Catherine “Katie” Hubbard, 88, of the Pittsfield Manor, and formerly of Pleasant Hill, passed away Thursday (11-20-25) evening at Pittsfield Manor.
Katie was born Dec. 28, 1936 in Belleview, a daughter of Harry Albert and Florence Agnes Evans Woodruff. She married Charles Wesley “Wes” Hubbard, Jr. on Oct. 19, 1952 in New Berlin. Wes preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2013.
Katie was a homemaker and had also served as a volunteer E.M.T. with the Pleasant Hill Ambulance Service.
Katie enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events along with Wes. She also enjoyed shopping, reading and attending country music shows.
Katie was a long time member of the Nebo Church of Christ.
Survivors include four children, Charles “Charlie” Wesley (Vesta) Hubbard,llI, of St. Louis, Nina (Rob) Gleason of Elkhart, Terry (Jane) Hubbard of rural Pleasant Hill and Mary Ann (Tony) Crowder of rural Rockport, eight grandchildren, Ann Elizabeth Hubbard, Maggy (Neal) Proctor, Molly (David) Pickering, Leanna (Logan) Coventry, Brent (Tara) Hubbard, Jenna (Dan) Peebles, Bryce Hubbard and Jake Crowder, and twelve great grandchildren, Jack, Lane, Kate, Beckett, Sadie, Lydia, Adalyn, Jocelyn, Leela, Rosalie, Thomas and Wes.
Katie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Bill Woodruff.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Lummis Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill conducted by Pastor Jimmy Hodges. Burial will follow at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
