The Junior High Wildcat team, made up of softball players from the Greenfield and Northwestern schools, made a stand on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Central A&M to make it to the Elite Eight.
They will play last year’s State Champion, Brimfield, at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, in Normal.
