The following police reports were filed between April 19 and April 26. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Joseph John DeMaria, dob 7-28-1967, possession of meth less than five grams, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), possession of hypodermic/syringe/needles.
Warren A. Elders, dob 11-25-1971, violate order of protection/prior domestic battery.
Blake Thompson, dob 9-25-1990, aggravated battery/peace officer, two charges of domestic battery/other prior, resisting/peace officer/firefighter or correctional employee.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Christina M. Carraway, dob 7-11-1988, resisting/peace officer/firefighter or correctional employee.
Tanner J. Reno, dob 2-05-2005, criminal trespass to vehicles, disorderly conduct.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Russell S. Scott, dob 11-16-1993, driving under the influence of alcohol, improper traffic lane usage.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Austin Z. Yates, dob 4-19-2002, domestic battery/physical contact, battery/cause bodily harm, criminal damage to property less than $500.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Jose Alberto Martinez Avila, dob 1-22-1984, negligent driving.
Derek H. Smith, dob 2-16-2002, negligent driving.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Ava J. Dunham, dob 9-30-2004, speeding 35+ mph over limit, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Scott A. Hansen, dob 1-18-1966, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Melissa Suzanne Kuehnel, dob 8-25-1982, drivers license expired more than a year, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Bruce A. Price Jr., dob 10-29-1980, drivers license expired more than a year.
George Russell Scott, dob 4-06-1995, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Joseph M. Butler, dob 7-25-1985, registration expiration/1st and 2nd.
Jacob B. Chandler, dob 5-15-1997, operate uninsured motor vehicle, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Johanna P. Chaney, dob 3-02-1988, following too closely.
Skyler M. Dailey, dob 8-25-2005, improper passing on left.
Josephine V. Eldridge, dob 1-29-1971, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Diane C. German, dob 9-21-1950, failure to obey stop sign.
Tonya J. Kasinger, dob 8-06-1972, registration expiration/1st and 2nd.
Kayla Lynn Ladd, dob 2-15-1990, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Brandi R. Martin, dob 10-12-1981, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Miranda N. Morris, dob 3-17-1995, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Roxanne Sears, dob 9-25-1967, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Jacob M. Therry, dob 6-18-2002, operate uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed, attempt to flee/elude officer, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
Kobe M. Tucker, dob 10-22-2002, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Jared A. Zerwas, dob 5-04-1990, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
